When I asked Rusty & Ted what theme they intended for their wedding they responded with one word: DANCE! The couple met each other while out dancing and have kept it a special part of their relationship. Not only did Rusty and Ted have amazing moves but all of their guests hit the dance floor with an incredible energy. Their wedding night was a group of fun people in an awesome venue.
I 100% recommend The Logan for any couple looking for a wedding in the heart of Philadelphia. Their comfy suites are filled with natural light, the patio was a great location for portraits and cocktail hour, and the Stenton Room where the reception was held perfect for both ceremony and reception. The in-house catering was tasty (and pretty) and all the folks fom The Logan who worked with us that day were warm and helpful in extending hospitality. We didn't have to go far for portraits-- between Logan Square with the fountain and a view of City Hall, the back patio and the hotel's roof deck bar we had options for photos without any transportation hassles.
Rusty & Ted used McGarry's Jewelers in Collingswood for their rings and Collingswood Cleaners for their tuxes. Their friend Jenna E. Moore did a wonderful job with hair and makeup and Affairs To Be Remembered decorated the room and provided beautiful florals.
Cocktail hour was held out on the patio before the ceremony. The afternoon light was incredible and it was so convenient to pull groups aside for photos in the courtyard.
Their ceremony was officiated by their friend Rev. Fritz Sowler and featured speeches, anecdotes and readings from close family and friends. Rusty & Ted lit candles they got on a recent trip to New Orleans and traded ties of their family colors to signify their unity. The ceremony was followed by a champaign toast and dances with Ted's mom and Rusty's family friend Becky.
The energy on the dance floor was a combined effort from Rusty & Ted's guests and their DJs Hot Hot Hot Entertainment! Rusty & Ted stole a private moment to take some photos with the fountain and City Hall in the background.
The night ended with a group hug. Congratulations Rusty & Ted!!
