what’s your style? I’m coming from a photojournalism background and capture natural moments of joy and beauty throughout day. I am always pushing myself to grow as an artist in the knowledge my craft while shaping a unique vision. My intention is to channel the depth, vibrance and warmth of film photography through digital images that are crisp and modern. Your final set of photos will include both color and black and white images.
what packages do you offer? My eight hour packages currently start at 2800. Send me an email for more detailed information and options!
what is required to book you? I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time our contract is signed and 50% on your wedding day. Checks work best for me. We’ll both sign a contract either digitally or through the mail that will become active when I receive your non-refundable deposit.
should we do an engagement shoot? You’ll have a chance to personally get to know my work to help you better envision your wedding day. It’s more casual and less stressful than your wedding and lets you style your favorite every-day clothes instead of formal attire. We can shoot at locations that are significant to you and your relationship.
do we need to book a second photographer? I recommend a second photographer based on your guest headcount and the number of folks in your wedding party. For some weddings second photographers are a must-have for me to be able to do my job properly, but for more intimate settings it’s possible that one photographer will be enough.
who is the second photographer? I work with really awesome, hardworking and talented folks with a unique perspective and a style that compliments my work.
we want you as our photographer but we haven’t decided on having a second shooter or an album or if we’ll need an extra hour of coverage. can we give you our deposit and then decide about the second shooter and album later? If you have your wedding and decide afterwards you’d like me to do an album we can totally add that on! Unfortunately, I need to know if you need if you’re hiring a second shooter at the time of signing so I can be sure to have enough time to book someone who’s photos we'll be really happy with. I’m happy to accommodate extra hours of coverage as long as you give me a heads-up that that may be something you want within two weeks of your wedding.
how many images should we expect and can we print our photos?I guarantee 900 print-quality images for those who book me for at least eight hours. I like to give you lots of options. I shoot in color but as I mix in some black and white images in your final edit. I transfer them on Dropbox and you’ll be able to download them all as high-quality .jpegs. I'll host the images on my dropbox for up to two months after they're delivered. After that you're responsible for downloading and backing them up. I don’t offer prints but can recommend Indie Photo Lab as a place that does really awesome work.
what albums do you offer? I offer guest books with photos from your engagement session as well as wedding albums. Send me an email for more pricing information.
what’s your turnaround time? You’ll have your full wedding collection after five weeks. For portrait sessions or smaller events my turnaround is two weeks.
do you photograph stuff besides weddings? Absolutely! Really anything you can throw at me, especially if it involves photos of human beings. Email me for customized pricing.
do you shoot outside of the Philadelphia Area? Yes! I’m down to travel anywhere for a wedding or a shoot. Email me and we’ll figure something out.
what can I do to make sure my pictures come out great? The best thing that you can do to ensure that you love your photos is… be happy in them! The more you can wear the joy of marrying your best friend on your face the better your photos will be. Tell each other funny inside jokes, make each other laugh and focus on your love. In order to free yourselves up to do that, though, I recommend planning your wedding down to all the small details and have everything set in place in the weeks before the wedding so that when the actual day comes you can stick to the schedule of enjoying yourselves by minimizing stress.
how can we shape the schedule of our day to get the best photos? Give yourself more time for everything than you think you’ll need because surprises happen often. The more realistic your schedule is the less stress you’ll experience on your wedding day and the more fun you’ll have. If you’re willing to see each other before the ceremony to do your portrait session at that time. But also if you choose to see each other for the first time walking down the aisle that’s a moment that’s a really powerful moment to capture. I'd also love to steal you for a few moments before sunset to capture you illuminated by late-afternoon light.
